Laura Linney is an American actor who has become famous for her portrayal of strong but vulnerable characters. In the summer, while working in her father's company Laura Linney fell in love by theatre. Later in her time at Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. She began her Broadway career soon after completing her degree in the year 2000, before making her television debut the following year. In the years since, she's performed in many films and stage and television productions. There have been numerous awards throughout her career. They include 4 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, three Academy Award Nominations, and five Tony Award Nominations. In spite of all these awards, her passion for the theatre isn't gone in her, and she still performs as a stage performer and screen.
