Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has herself about her experience of being born into a "white bubble" and how that realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said in the past that when it comes to the color of her skin there is no difference. After speaking with her adopted sister by South Korea she realized just the way society views people of different races. In my interview, I asked Meg what she thought of her treatment while out in public, either with or without our parents, it was distinct. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to her parents that it made her realize just how naive she had been. She said that she was angry and felt that she needed to channel her anger on helping her adoptee daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son who is married to her 13 year old wife, Josh Kelley. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. followed by Adalaide aged 8 who is now old and is Black as of 2012.
